专利说明:
Field of the Invention [0001] The present invention relates to a mobile terminal. More specifically, the present invention relates to a mobile terminal and an object change support method for the mobile terminal that allows a user to adjust properties of objects on the screen in an easy and convenient way. Background of the Invention [0002] Mobile terminals support mobility-based calling functions. Due to their convenience of use and high portability, mobile terminals have become widely used. To support user functions, mobile terminals can provide several input mechanisms. For example, if a handset provides a touch screen including a touch panel and a display unit, then the user can select an image on the display unit when performing a gesture on the touch panel. For example, the gesture may include merely touching an area of the touch panel. The mobile terminal generates a touch event corresponding to the gesture and controls an application program for a user function according to the touch event. [0003] To support high mobility, mobile terminals have a small display area compared to other devices. Therefore, a mobile terminal can send various types of information for different functions in a small display area. Recently in particular, smartphones have been widely popularized. A smartphone user can select one of several objects displayed on the screen to perform a desired function. Description of the Invention Technical Problem [0004] However, to provide various types of information on a small screen, an existing smartphone tends to provide only uniformly standardized objects of fixed sizes. Then, a user may experience difficulties in quickly recognizing the functions associated with individual objects and selecting a desired object. In addition, the objects emitted tend to have still images, performing the implementation of various personalized information based on difficulties of the user's preferences. These problems can become more serious for objects by emitting specific information as widget objects. Solution to the Problem [0005] In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, a method of supporting object change to a mobile terminal is provided. The method includes emitting at least one object in a display unit, receiving a signal to change the object's ownership, and changing, in response to the change of ownership signal, the object to one of the second objects that are identical in function, but differ in the type of the object. [0006] In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, a method of supporting change of object to a movable end is provided. The method includes issuing at least one object on a display unit, receiving a signal for change of ownership of the object, issuing, in response to the change of ownership signal, a guide frame on the display unit where the guide frame facilitates changing the object to one of the second objects that are identical in function, but differ in the type of the object. [0007] In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, a mobile terminal capable of supporting the change of object is provided. The terminal includes a display unit emitting one of the objects that are identical in function, but differ in type, and a control unit controlling at least one of the displays directly, in response to a signal to change the emitted object to a second object. a different type, the second object of the different type on the display unit without a screen transition, and emit, in response to a signal to change the signal emitted to a second object of a different type, a guide frame on the display unit in order to facilitate the change of the emitted object without a screen transition. Advantageous Effects of the Invention [0008] Therefore, an aspect of the present invention is to provide a mobile terminal and an object change support method for a mobile terminal that allows a user to freely adjust the properties, such as size and information arrangement, of objects on the screen in an easy and convenient way. Thus, for example, the reference to "a component surface" includes reference to one or more of such surfaces. [0020] Figure 1 is a block diagram of a mobile terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. [0021] With reference to figure 1, the mobile terminal 100 may include a wireless communication unit 110, an input unit 120, an audio processing unit 130, a display unit 140, a storage unit 150 and a control unit 160. In the following description, object change signals can be generated by display unit 140 having a touch screen capability and / or input unit 120. [0022] The mobile terminal 100 having the above configuration can display a standby screen on the display unit 140 according to the preset programming information after the mobile terminal 100 is turned on. Mobile terminal 100 can emit various objects associated with different functions on the standby screen. In particular, mobile terminal 100 can output at least one widget object 151 on display unit 140. Mobile terminal 100 can adjust the size or properties of widget object 151 according to the user's selection. For example, mobile terminal 100 can support the adjustment of widget object 151 on the current screen without page transition to screen adjustment, thus facilitating the adjustment of objects. A description is of individual components of the mobile terminals 100 is provided in connection with an object change support function. The object change support function is described with a focus on widget objects. However, the object change support function is not limited to widget objects, and can be applied to other types of objects according to the user's settings and design. [0023] Wireless communication unit 110 establishes a voice, video and data communication channel under the control of control unit 160. That is, wireless communication unit 110 establishes a communication channel for a call voice, a data call and a video call with a mobile communication system. To achieve this, the wireless communication unit 110 may include a radio frequency transmitter to upwardly convert the frequency of a signal to be transmitted and amplify the signal, and a radio frequency receiver to amplify a received signal with low noise. and downwardly converting the frequency of the received signal. In particular, the wireless communication unit 110 can establish a data communication channel with an external server or other mobile terminal, and receive specific data in real time, periodically, or upon request by the data communication channel. For example, real-time weather information from an external server can be applied to a widget object 151 by manipulating weather information. A message received from an external server or other mobile terminal can be applied to a widget object manipulation message 151. Here, a message can be a text message, a multimedia message, or an e-mail message. Stock quotes periodically received from an external server can be applied to a widget object 151 by manipulating stock exchange information. When specific data is received through the wireless communication unit 110, the control unit 160 applies at least some of the data received to the corresponding widget object 151 in the display unit 140, causing an information update issued by the widget object 151. [0024] Input unit 120 includes a plurality of alphanumeric keys and functions for entering alphanumeric information or for defining various functions. The function keys can include, the direction, side and shortcut keys associated with specific functions. Input unit 120 generates a key signal corresponding to user manipulation for defining and controlling the operation of mobile terminal 100, and sends the generated key signal to control unit 160. Input unit 120 can be configured as a keyboard having multiple keys in a Qwerty layout, a 3 * 4 layout or a 4 * 3 layout. Input unit 120 can also be configured as a key map of a Qwerty layout, 3 * 4 or 4 * 3 displayed on display unit 140. If mobile terminal 100 is a full-screen touch type terminal, then the input unit 120 can include only side keys formed on the sides of the case of the mobile terminals 100. The input unit 120 can generate an input signal to change a widget object 151. For example, if the mobile terminal 100 includes keys predefined input terminals (that is, if the terminal is not a full-screen touchscreen type terminal), then the mobile terminal 100 can output information by specifying at least one reference point to change the widget object 151. The mobile terminal 100 can change widget object 151 based on user manipulation of the input unit. For example, input unit 120 can generate an input signal to select a reference point according to user manipulation and send the generated input signal to control unit 160. [0025] The audio processing unit 130 includes an SPK speaker to output audio data during a call and output audio data contained in a message received or stored on the d150 storage unit, and a MIC microphone to collect a signal audio such as a voice signal during a call. The audio processing unit 130 can emit an audible alert indicating the adjustment of a widget object 151 according to user definitions. For example, when the user generates an input signal to change properties of a widget object 151 displayed on the standby screen, the audio processing unit 130 can issue an audible alert indicating the transition to a property change mode for the widget object 151. When a touch gesture or input signal is generated during the change of ownership mode for widget object 151, the audio processing unit 130 can emit a corresponding audible alert. [0026] If the mobile terminal 100 has a touchscreen capability, the display unit 140 may include a display panel and a touch panel. For example, display unit 140 can be configured so that the display panel is covered by the touch panel. Therefore, the size of the display unit 140 can be determined by the size of the touch panel. [0027] The display panel displays several menus of the mobile terminal 100, information entered by the user, and information to be provided to the user. For example, the display panel can emit several screens related to the use of the mobile terminal 100, such as a waiting screen, a menu screen, a message handling screen and a call handling screen. The display panel can be configured using liquid crystal display (LCD) devices, organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), or the like. The display panel can be placed above or below the touch panel. In particular, the display panel can emit at least one widget object 151 according to user definitions. Mobile terminal 100 can provide a list of available widget objects 151, and the user can select a desired widget object 151 to be displayed on the display panel. The properties (for example, size, shape, etc.) of a widget object 151 on the display panel can be modified according to a touch event occurring on the touch panel. The display panel can issue a screen for modifying properties of a widget object 151 during a property change mode. For user convenience, the transition to a property change mode for a widget object 151 can be done on the current screen without explicit screen transaction. When transitioning to a change of ownership mode, display unit 140 can emit visual effects (for example, changing colors, highlighting a selected widget object, shading regions of the screen other than that of a selected widget object ) under control of control unit 160. The emission of visual effects is described in more detail later with reference to figures 4 to 6. [0028] The touch panel positioned in a lower or upper portion of the display panel can generate a touch event corresponding to a touch gesture by the user and send the touch event to the control unit 160. A touch gesture can be done with a touch object such as, for example, a user's finger, a stylus, or the like. The sensor elements of the touch panel are arranged in a matrix form. When a touch event occurs on the touch panel, the sensor elements send location and type information of the touch event to the control unit 160. The touch panel can generate a touch event to change properties of a widget object 151 in a region of the display panel in which the widget object 151 is displayed according to a user gesture. Display panel functions such as touch events are described in more detail later with reference to the figures. [0029] The storage unit 150 can store application programs performing functions related to the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, and the key maps and menu maps for proper operation of the display unit 140. The key maps can correspond to various layouts keys including 3 * 4 and Qwerty, and can include keyboard layouts of control key maps to control execution of an application program. Menu maps can include a menu map to control the execution of an application program. Storage unit 150 may include a program region and a data region. [0030] The program region can store an operating system (OS) for initializing and operating the mobile terminal 100, application programs for playing music data, application programs to support call-related functions, application programs such as a Web browser to access Internet servers, and application programs to view still images and moving images. The program region can also store a widget object change support program. [0031] The widget object change support program includes routines for adjusting properties (for example, size, information arrangement and information details) of a widget object 151 in display unit 140. Specifically, the support program changing a widget object can include: a determination routine to transition to a mode of changing ownership for a widget object; a change routine to retrieve another widget object, which is identical in function, but different in type of the widget object, from storage unit 150 and to display the retrieved widget object in display unit 140 in response to the occurrence a touch event in the change of ownership mode; and a routine to cause the currently displayed widget object to be continuously displayed on display unit 140 after the generation of a signal indicating the end of the ownership change mode. The determination routine determines whether the transition to the property change mode on the basis of a given ring event or input signal. As an example, the touch event can correspond to a long touch gesture (for example, the control unit can distinguish between the types of rings based on the amount of time a ring is performed) or a predefined number of rings on the touch panel displaying the widget object 151. The change routine selects one of multiple widget objects that are identical in function, but differ in type according to a user's touch event, and output the selected widget object to display unit 140. Widget objects can be classified by function related to, for example, weather, actions, message, housework, and news. Widget objects belonging to the same functional class can have different characteristics for display. For example, with respect to displaying features, weather widget objects can be displayed in 1 x 2, 2 x 2 and 4 x 2 sizes. Widget objects of different types may differ in size, and the corresponding information details and information arrangement of widget objects may differ according to size. This is described in more detail with reference to figures 4 to 6. [0032] The data region is an area that stores data generated in the course of using the mobile terminal 100, and can store phonebook data, objects for widget functions and other content. The data region can store user entries entered via the touch panel. In particular, the data region can store several widget objects that differ in function and type. [0033] The control unit 160 controls the power supply for the components of the mobile terminals 100 for initialization. After initialization, the control unit 160 checks whether a change of ownership function is triggered by the user for a widget object 151. When the change of ownership function is triggered, the control unit 160 transitions to the change ownership and control signal processing to change properties of widget object 151, control unit 160 can manipulate the display of a guide frame to guide changes in widget object formats, manipulate the output of various types of widget objects according to an input signal or touch event, and output a widget object of a type selected in the display unit 140 at the end of the ownership change mode. The guide frame includes one or more overlapping regions corresponding respectively to objects that are identical in function, but differ in type. As an example, the control unit 160 can be configured as described below with reference to figure 2. [0034] Figure 2 is a detailed block diagram of a control unit 160 of a mobile terminal 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The operation of the control unit 160 is described with a focus on touch events as input signals. However, exemplary embodiments are not limited to this one. That is, to modify the properties of the widget objects, the control unit 160 can operate not only with touch events, but also with input signals from various input means such as, for example, the input unit 120 . [0035] With reference to figure 2, the control unit 160 may include a touch event collector 161, a guide frame producer 163, and a widget object emitter 165. [0036] The touch event collector 161 is configured to collect touch events occurring on the touch panel. In an exemplary embodiment, the touch event collector 161 collects touch events to change properties of a widget object 151. Specifically, when a touch event is collected, the touch event collector 161 determines whether the collected touch event is related to the change of ownership of a widget 151 object. If the collected touch event is not related to the change of ownership of a widget 151 object, then the touch event collector 161 can control the performance of an operation indicated by the touch event collected. If the collected touch event is related to the change of ownership of a widget object 151, then the touch wind collector 161 can forward the collected touch event to the guide frame producer 163. A touch event related to the changing the ownership of a widget object 151 can correspond to a long touch gesture or a given number of touches on the touch panel displaying the widget object 151, or it can correspond to a multi-touch gesture or a menu selection gesture . [0037] Upon receiving a touch event related to the change of ownership of a widget object 151 from the touch event collector 161, the guide frame producer 163 controls an operation to enter the change property mode. The producer of guide board 163 can generate visual effects indicating transition to the mode of change of ownership. For example, the leaderboard producer 163 can highlight the selected widget object 151 only and shade other regions of the screen than that of the widget object 151. In change ownership mode, the leaderboard producer 163 can issue a guide frame to accommodate widget objects that are identical in function, but differ in the type of the selected widget object 151. For example, the guide frame can be emitted around the widget object 151 displayed in display unit 140. The guide frame can include one or more regions demarcated by, for example, dotted lines. Depending on the widget object 151 selected, the number of regions marked in the guide frame corresponds to the number of registered widget objects that are identical in function, but differ in type. For example, when three widget objects of different types are registered with widget object 151, the guide frame for widget object 151 can include three regions, which may or may not overlap. Waypoints for selecting corresponding widget objects can be marked in regions of the guide frame. [0038] In a state where the guide frame for a widget object 151 is output on display unit 140 by the guide frame producer 163, if a region of the guide frame is selected, then the widget object emitter 165 retrieves a widget object image associated with the selected region. After that, if an input signal for a widget object change is inserted, then widget object issuing unit 165 places widget object 151 in display unit 140 with the retrieved widget object image, and controls an operation to finalize the ownership change mode. [0039] As described above, mobile terminal 100 allows the user to change properties of a widget object 151 in a convenient and quick way using a simple input scheme, and issues multiple widget objects of the same functional category in different formats during the change process. Then, the user can access information in various ways. [0040] Figure 3 is a flow chart of a support method of changing the widget for the mobile terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. [0041] With reference to figure 3, on the object change support method, when switched on, the control unit 160 of the mobile terminal 100 supplies power to the individual components, performs initialization and displays a waiting screen according to information programming preset in step S101. [0042] When an input signal or touch event is generated, the control unit 160 determines whether the input signal or touch event is related to changing a widget object 151 in step S103. If the input signal or touch event is not related to changing a widget object 151, then the control unit 160 can perform a user function indicated by the input signal or touch event in step S105. For example, the control unit 160 can control an operation to perform a function related to call handling, file searching, web access, image capture or broadcast reception. [0043] If the input signal or touch event is related to changing a widget object 151, the control unit 160 controls an operation to change the widget object 151 in step S107. More specifically, in response to a signal to change a widget object 151, the control unit 160 transitions to a change of ownership mode for the widget object 151 selected by the signal. In ownership change mode, control unit 160 identifies a number and size of widget objects that are identical in function, but differ in the type of widget object 151 from storage unit 150. Control unit 160 includes a frame tab based on the identified number and size of the widget objects. The control unit 160 emits the guide frame around the widget object 151 in the display unit 140. As an example, the guide frame can include reference points making it easy to select a new widget object to replace the display object. current widget 151. [0044] After that, the control unit 160 checks whether an input signal is inserted to select a widget object from the guide frame in step S109. If an input signal is not inserted to select a widget object, then control unit 160 returns to step S103 and can maintain the current widget object screen to continue processing. [0045] If a widget object is selected from the guide frame in response to the occurrence of a touch event at a reference point on the guide frame, then the control unit 160 emits the widget object associated with the reference point on display unit 140 in step S111. The control unit 160 can output the selected widget object as a preview image, and again output the standby screen including the selected widget object after the end of the user selection. On the standby screen, the control unit 160 can replace the widget object 151 with the selected widget object 151 without a screen transition. [0046] After changing the widget object, the control unit 160 checks whether an input signal for completion is generated in step S113. If an input signal for termination is not generated, then the control unit 160 returns to step S101 and displays the waiting screen updated in step S111. [0047] Figure 4 is a screen representation illustrating object change operations according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. [0048] Referring to figure 4, when switched on, the mobile terminal 100 can display a standby screen on the display unit 140 according to the preset programming information as shown on screen 401. For example, as shown on screen401, the control unit 160 can display a waiting screen including a clock widget object 230 and a message widget object 200 of a first display unit 140. As an example, the clock widget object 230 indicates the current time and can change in terms of format or image with the pass the time. The message widget object 200 of the first type has a fixed size and is used to output message text received in a format suitable for the size. For example, on screen 401, the message widget object 200 of the first type has a title "Message" and the sender identification information "Suji" and "Jim". For example, sender identification information can be a string if the corresponding sender is registered in the phonebook, or a phone number or other form of contrary evidence. The message widget object 200 of the first type may have a slider in a given portion (for example, on the right edge of the widget object) to indicate the presence of additional messages received. [0049] When a long press event for changing the widget object occurs on the message widget object 200 of the first type, a guide frame 202 for changing the widget object can be issued as shown on screen 402. As shown on screen 402, a long touch event can be used as a signal to change the widget object. However, exemplary embodiments of the present invention are not limited to this. For example, a signal for changing a widget object can be a predefined event such as a long touch event, a given number of rings event, a multi-touch event, or the like. In response to the signal to change the widget object, the control unit 160 identifies the number and size of registered widget objects that are identical in function, but differ in the type of the message widget object 200 of the first type, and issues a guide frame 202 corresponding to the identified number and size of the registered widget objects as shown on screen 402. For example, when two message widget objects of different types are registered as the message widget object 200 of the first type, the Guide frame 202 may have two demarcated regions. For example, guide frame 202 can have two reference points 204 and 205 corresponding to two message widget objects of different types. To indicate a mode of changing the widget object, the control unit 160 can produce visual effects. For example, other widget objects (for example, the clock widget object 230 shown on screen 402) can be shaded. For user convenience and quick change of widget object, the control unit 160 can emit the guide frame 202 around a region 201 in which the touch event occurred on screen 401. For example, the control unit 160 can output the guide frame 202 so that the center point 203 of the guide frame 202 can correspond to the region 201 in which the touch event occurred on screen 401. As a result, when performing a simple gesture (for example, a touch event) long press) on screen 401, the user can see the guide frame 202 shown on screen 402. [0050] When the user generates a signal to select a type A message widget object on screen 402, control unit 160 can output type A message widget object 210 on display unit 140 as shown on the screen 403. In order to select a type A message widget object, on screen 402, the user can enter a touch event to select the reference point 204 of the guide frame 202 associated with the message widget object 210 of type A. Or, to select the message widget object 210 of type A, the user can insert a touch event at the central point 203 and drag in an 'A' direction to the reference point 204 while maintaining contact. In response to the above user gesture, the control unit 160 can output a message widget object 210 of type A on display unit 140 as shown on screen 403. In contrast to the message widget object 200 of the first type, the type A message widget object 210 has a larger area extended in one direction and displays a greater amount of information. That is, the message widget object 210 of type A can display not only sender identification information, but also a portion of the message text in the object image. In addition, if the user drags more than a predefined distance from the central point 203 towards the reference point 204 or 205, then the control unit 160 can output a message widget object of the corresponding type in the display unit 140. In other words, the control unit 160 can issue a message widget object of a particular type in advance before the user's drag reaches the corresponding reference point of the central point 203. [0051] Similarly, when the user generates a signal to select a type B message widget object on screen 402, the control unit 160 can output the type B message widget object 220 on the display unit 140 as shown on screen 404. In order to select a type B message widget object, on screen 402, the user can enter a touch event to select reference point 205 of guide frame 202 associated with the object of message widget 220 of type B. Or, to select the object of message widget 220 of type B, the user can insert a touch event at the central point 203 and drag in a direction of 'B' to the reference point 205 while keeping in touch. In response to the above user gesture, control unit 160 may output message widget object 220 of type B in display unit 140 as shown on screen 404. In contrast to message widget object 200 of the first type or the message widget object 210 of type A, message widget object 220 of type B has a larger object image area and displays a greater amount of information in the object image area. For example, message widget object 220 of type B can display sender identification information, sender image data stored in the phonebook, and some portion of the message text. [0052] When the user selects the message widget object 210 of type A on screen 402 when inserting a touch event at reference point 204 and maintaining contact (for example, keeping the touch object in a touch state in with respect to the touch panel), the control unit 160 can output the message widget object 210 of type A as a preview image on screen 403. Similarly, when the user selects the message widget object 220 type B on screen 402 when inserting a touch event at reference point 205 and maintaining contact (for example, keeping the touch object in a touch state in relation to the touch panel), the control unit 160 can emit the message widget object 220 of type B as a preview image on the 404 screen. [0053] Then, when the user enters a touch release event on screen 403 or screen 404, control unit 160 can replace the message widget object 200 of the first type in display unit 140 with the widget object type 210 message type 210 or type B message widget object 220 as on screen 405 or screen 406, respectively. Therefore, in display unit 140, the output of a different widget object and change of ownership of a widget object can be manipulated on the same layer. [0054] On screen 405, replace the message widget object 210 of type A with a different message widget object such as the message widget object 200 of the first type or the message widget object 220 of type B, the user can generate an input signal to enter a message widget object change mode. Then, the control unit 160 can emit a guide frame 202 around the message widget object 210 of type A as illustrated on screen 402. When the user selects a desired reference point from the guide frame 202 by dragging or touching , the control unit 160 can emit a different message widget object associated with the selected landmark. Similarly, on screen 406, the user can replace the message widget object 220 of type B with a different message widget object when performing the actions described above. Since the guide frame 202 is output within the display image of the type B message widget object 220, the control unit 160 can shade the type B message widget object 220 in such a way that the user can view the guide frame 202. Object image manipulation in this way can also be applied to the procedures for changing other widget objects. [0055] In the description above, touch events are used as a signal to change the widget object. Input unit 120 can also be used to generate a signal for changing the widget object. For ease of selection of the desired reference point via input unit 120, readily insertable indexes can be assigned to the reference points associated with different types of widget objects. The storage unit 150 can pre-store object images and display formats for widget objects that are identical in function, but differ in type such as the message widget object 200 of the first type, the message widget object 210 of the type A and the message widget object 220 of type B. [0056] As described above, the object change support method of exemplary embodiments of the present invention allows the user to change the size and information arrangement of an object. The method uses a variable guide frame 202 to output widget objects as preview images to thereby improve the visibility of a widget object of a desired type, which is then promptly output on the screen in response to an action simple, like a touch release event. [0057] Figure 5 are a screen representation illustrating widget object change operations according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. [0058] With reference to figure 5, the control unit 160 of the mobile terminal 100 can emit a weather widget object 300 of a basic type in the display unit 140 according to user definitions as in screen 501. If the user generates an input signal on screen 501 to change the weather widget object 300 from the basic type to one of the weather widget objects 310, 320, 330 and 340 of different types, so the control unit 160 can emit a frame Guide frame 302. Guide frame 302 is associated with weather widget objects of different types, and is configured based on the display size, display orientation, information content and information arrangement of the weather widget objects. For example, as shown on screen 501, if there are five weather widget objects of different types, then guide frame 302 can be configured to include five demarcated regions and have five landmarks C, C1, C2, C3 and C4 . Reference points C, C1, C2, C3 and C4 can be associated with different weather widget objects respectively. [0059] For example, if the user generates an input signal to select a first reference point C1 associated with the weather widget object 310 of the first type on screen 501, then the control unit 160 can issue the widget object of weather 310 of the first type on display unit 140 as shown on screen 503. Depending on the design, control unit 160 can output weather widget object 310 of the first type as a preview image and then display the same on the screen in response to an additional signal. In contrast to the weather widget object 300 of the basic type displaying information related to the current temperature, and maximum and minimum temperatures for the day, the weather widget object 310 of the first type can display information related to the current temperature, maximum and minimum temperatures for the day, current location, source of information and current time. [0060] If the user generates an input signal to select a second reference point C2 associated with the weather widget object 320 of the second type on screen 501, then the control unit 160 can issue the weather widget object 320 of the second type in display unit 140 as shown on screen 505. The weather widget object 320 of the second type can display information related to the current temperature, maximum and minimum temperatures for the day, an image and text describing the current climate, location current, source of information and current time. If the user generates an input signal to select a third reference point C3 associated with the weather widget object 330 of the third type on screen 501, then the control unit 160 can output the weather widget object 330 of the third type on display unit 140 as shown on screen 507. The weather widget object 330 of the third type can display information related to the current temperature, maximum and minimum temperatures for the day, an image and text describing the current weather, the current location , source of information and current time. Finally, if the user generates an input signal to select a fourth reference point C4 associated with the weather widget object 340 of the fourth type on screen 501, then the control unit 160 can issue the weather widget object 340 from the fourth type on display unit 140 as shown on screen 509. The fourth type weather widget object 340 can display information related to the current temperature, maximum and minimum temperatures for the day, an image and text describing the current climate, weather forecast weekly weather, current location, source of information and current time. [0061] As described above, mobile terminal 100 can pre-store various types of widget objects as a particular function and output a guide frame on the screen in which a widget object is displayed according to a user request. Then, when the user selects a reference point from the guide frame associated with a widget object of a different type, the mobile terminal 100 issues the widget object of a different type associated with the selected reference point, facilitating easy change widget object. As an example, widget objects of different types display various forms of information that differ according to at least one among display size, display orientation, information content, and information arrangement. Then, the user can easily change the widget object of one type to a widget object of another type having information in a suitable size. In the description above, reference points are used to select a widget object of a different type. However, exemplary embodiments of the present invention are not limited to this. For example, the generation of a touch event in one of the demarcated regions of the guide frame can cause the control unit 160 to emit a widget object associated with the touched region as a preview image or display it in the screen. In a state where one of the weather widget objects 310, 320, 330, and 340 of the first to the fourth type is displayed, if an input signal for changing the weather widget object is generated, then the control unit 160 it can output the guide frame 302 on the display unit 140. [0062] As described above, widget objects are used as objects. However, exemplary embodiments of the present invention are not limited to this. For example, objects can correspond to image files. More specifically, as shown in figure 6, an object can be an image frame object. In an object change mode for the image frame object, the control unit 160 can generate a guide frame 402 on the basis of different image files that are included in the same folder in which the image file currently displayed on the object picture frame is included. The control unit 160 can output the generated guide frame 402 around the image frame object in the display unit 140. If the user generates an input signal to select one of the different image files using the guide frame 402, then the control unit 160 can output the selected image file as a preview image according to a location or type of a touch event generated in the guide frame 402. To facilitate the selection of one of the image files of the same size, the control unit 160 can arrange multiple reference points in a region of the guide frame 402. For example, it is assumed that four image files having a size of 2 x 2 and an image file of a different size are presented. The control unit 160 can assign four reference points for one region of the guide frame 402 and a reference point for another region of the same. Here, when the region for size 2 x 2 is demarcated by dotted lines forming a rectangle, the reference points can be replaced by vertices or dotted lines. If the user selects one of the reference points, then the control unit 160 can output a 2 x 2 size image file associated with the selected reference point as a preview image or display it directly on the display unit 140 according to the project. In the description above, the unit of size can correspond to tens or hundreds of pixels, centimeters, inches or similar. [0063] In the preceding description, a guide frame is provided. However, exemplary embodiments of the present invention are not limited to this. For example, in response to a request to change a current object in display unit 140 to another object, control unit 160 may emit an object of a different type corresponding to a touch event applied to the current object (for example, distance drag and direction from the current object) as a preview image and then display the object of the different type in the display unit 140 according to a user request, or you can directly display the object of the different type in the display unit display 140. [0064] In the description above, an object of a given type is changed to an object of another type. However, according to a user request, the control unit 160 can emit a guide frame after an object and immediately display the object previously emitted on the screen. Then, after an object is issued, a guide frame can be issued to directly change the object previously issued to an object of another type; or, objects of different types can be issued according to a user request after issuing a guide frame. Alternatively, as described above, an object of a given type can be changed to an object of another type according to the type and direction of input signals without issuing a guide frame. [0065] Although not shown, the mobile terminal 100 can still include at least a short-range communication module, a camera module for capturing static and moving images of a target object, a data communication interface based on wired communication or wireless, an Internet communication module to access the Internet, and a digital broadcast reception module to reproduce digital broadcasts. With the trend of digital convergence, it should be evident to those skilled in the art that the mobile terminal 100 can still include a unit comparable to the units described above, and a unit of the same can be removed or replaced with another unit. [0066] The mobile terminal 100 of the present invention can be any device capable of displaying objects on the screen. For example, mobile terminal 100 can be any information and communication device or multimedia device, such as a mobile communication terminal based on communication protocols supporting various communication systems, a portable multimedia player (PMP), a broadcast receiver digital, a personal digital assistant (PDA), an MP3 player-type music player, a portable game console, a smart phone, a laptop computer, a portable computer, or the like. [0067] In a characteristic of exemplary embodiments of the present invention, the object change support method allows the user to manipulate objects on the screen in an easy and convenient way. [0068] In addition, the object change support method provides an improved object size, in advance of supporting the quick adjustment of objects and providing information in an improved way. [0069] As long as the invention has been shown and described with reference to certain exemplary embodiments thereof, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in shape and details can be made in it without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
